I am writing on behalf of my mother in law who was seen at the hospital. She was very happy with the service received at every appointment and the treatment has helped her recover very quickly.

I saw Mr Elnikety following a dislocation of my right shoulder after an incident at work. My shoulder was also frozen and unstable. Following a consultation we agreed on a shoulder stabilisation procedure which was fully explained and the risks outlined. The procedure was booked in promptly and and I was well looked after throughout. During the surgery it was discovered the shoulder needed a capsular release which was done. I was warned this may be the case and so it didn’t come as a surprise. Following the surgery I had a follow up after a few weeks and after having physio I have now regained 99% of my range of movement back and have resumed normal duties at work which is fairly high impact. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mr Elnikety for this type of surgery. Thank you so much for getting me back to good health and back to full duties at work. I really admire the amount of skill it takes to perform these types of procedures and it is tantamount to your experience and skill that things got better so quickly afterwards too.

I saw Mr/Dr S Elnikety in May of this year, (2019) about a frozen shoulder problem that I have had for about ten month's now. We agreed on a procedure called - Hydrodilatation and he wanted to see me six weeks after this was done. I have since received an appointment for this follow up in August but no date for the procedure itself. I have spoken to his secretary about this problem four times and each time I am told she will get back to me, but never does. What is the point in a follow up appointment to a procedure when I have not had the procedure in the first place?

I had a shoulder decompression in Feb, Mr Elnikety kept me informed at all times, of the procedure and recovery. My shoulder problem was fully repaired and should the arthritis occur in my other shoulder, I wouldn't hesitate to return to see Mr Elnikety or refer in. Thank you.

I had a condition commonly known as Tennis Elbow which was pretty painful. I saw the consultant and he recognised this condition almost immediately. He gave me options and I chose to go with surgery. Less than 8 weeks later I was having the operation. The after care was explained fully and I was told exactly how long I would need to recuperate. Physiotherapy was organised and started within 2 weeks. After 3 months I could use my arm for almost everything apart from lifting very heavy objects. A follow up apt came through to see Mr Elnikity and I was happy to be signed off. I am very pleased with the service provided and would absolutely recommend this consultant and also the Bath Clinic. I went in as an NHS patient and was not treated any different to the private patients. A very good experience all round.
